Modern Amiga Workbench 3.1 inspired Obsidian theme is an Obsidian theme drawn from the mature Workbench that shipped on the AGA machines. Visually 3.x inherited the 1990 redesign almost unchanged, because there was no second redesign; what changed underneath was colour depth. Workbench came up in eight colours rather than four, and the extras — a mid grey, a light grey, a warm beige and a salmon pink — gave the whole environment a softer cast. This theme leans on exactly that: the greys are tinted toward the beige, and the salmon serves as the interactive accent. Both a light and a dark appearance are included.

Core features

  • Anyone who used an A1200 or A4000: This is the Workbench of the AGA era.

Installing

The theme is a single theme.css file with a manifest.json beside it. Download both from the latest release, place them in YourVault/.obsidian/themes/Modern Amiga Workbench 3.1 inspired/, then choose the theme under Settings → Appearance. It needs no plugins and loads no remote assets, so it works offline.
