Manuscript Compiler is an Obsidian plugin designed for authors who want to turn structured manuscripts into professional publishing files without leaving their writing environment. It understands the structure of a book, including Front Matter, Parts, Chapters, Scenes, and Back Matter, and compiles only the content you choose into publication-ready DOCX, ODT, EPUB, HTML, Markdown, and XML files. Every export is generated locally on your computer, with no cloud services, telemetry, external executables, or companion plugins required. Whether you are preparing a novel for Vellum, sharing a manuscript with an editor, or archiving your work in open formats, Manuscript Compiler provides a simple three-step workflow that transforms organised Obsidian notes into clean, validated publishing documents.
